I'm a coach's wife, telling a story the best I know how. It's important and I want to get it right! Jump on the train quick for the Temple Wildcats are gathering steam! Their destination is unknown but their desire is for greatness. Prayerfully join us as God unfolds a new chapter. They've all been good but I won't be surprised if He's saved the best for last!
Tonight is the 2012 Temple Wildcat Football Banquet. Everything is set and ready to go. Thanks to all the amazing Quarterback Club! What an enthusiastic, tireless group of ‘true blue’ & white supporters! It’s one of many things that make Temple, Texas special. This close-knit community is excited about their “Wildcats” and the Football Banquet, is steeped in rich tradition. With a lot of team work, just look at what they have put together for tonight. The kids will love it! The coaches table displays old photos of the Wildcat football coaches. Every year the cheerleaders paint a huge sign and hang it on this wall. Next football season, they will hold it up for the team to run through.
The Wildcat Wall od Fame! The football players, cheerleaders, trainers, filmer’s and coaches pictures are spread all over town but tonight they’re all under one roof. At the end of the banquet, everyone takes them home. Another tradition. Never forget: The best programs ever! Celebrating the 2012 Temple Wildcats! Coaches, Trainers, Filmers and Cheerleaders: And don’t forget the pillow cases! Aren’t they fun? Every year these thoughtful girls make one of these for every player and coach. I’m impressed and so touched by this gesture.
Oh! We can’t forget the Fat Boys BBQ and the famous Ye Old English Bakery cake table! It’s going to be a great night!

I'm a 'middle-age' cheerleader happily married to my high school boyfriend! I call him Coach.... because he is one! A Texas high school football coach to be exact...and the finest man I've ever known. I love him. I love encouraging him and our three 'twenty something' children (aaahh...just the thought of them brings tears to my eyes)plus a growing family and many precious friends. All of which have blessed me deeply! And that's why I love to cheer!
