As you might expect, being the head football coach and athletic director of a 5-A Texas high school can be pretty stressful. in fact, it's pretty non-stop demanding. Year round. Between boys and girls, football, basketball, baseball, softball, powerlifting, soccer and track it's hard to find time to relax. Saturdays are typically another work day. So when the opportunity to relax presents itself you have to cease it!
Coach loves to fish! He always has. Way back in high school, after working a summer job at Wynnewood Garden Center, he and his best friend Curtis Ward, put their hard earned money together and bought a 14ft. Skeeter. It was the beginning of a lifetime love of fishing. Bass fishing, to be exact!

It's been over ten years since Coach owned a bass boat, but back in January, when he got the to buy another, I was all for it! After all, a man that works this hard needs to relax a little and what better way than to spend time in the great outdoors. Soaking up sunshine and communing with nature, is good for the soul.
