I'm a coach's wife, telling a story the best I know how. It's important and I want to get it right! Jump on the train quick for the Temple Wildcats are gathering steam! Their destination is unknown but their desire is for greatness. Prayerfully join us as God unfolds a new chapter. They've all been good but I won't be surprised if He's saved the best for last!
A big congratulations to my favorite Coach and all of those hard working coaches and kids that have made the 2014 season a success! Your dedication, determination and discipline have not gone unnoticed. In fact, your inspire those who know you best, by simply being you. Thank you for being great leaders, for thinking right and making good choices!...and thank you for being patient with those who have not learned what it takes to be a champion.
Tomorrow night, you will battle your next opponent, A & M Consolidated at Texas State University! You, along with 64 other Texas high schools will kick off the 2014 Playoffs! What an amazing opportunity lies before you. I know Coach Spradlin thinks you have what it takes to win it all, but you will have to win them one game at a time. It won't be easy, but nothing about football is...and that's why you play it. Because, you are that kind of person!

I'm a 'middle-age' cheerleader happily married to my high school boyfriend! I call him Coach.... because he is one! A Texas high school football coach to be exact...and the finest man I've ever known. I love him. I love encouraging him and our three 'twenty something' children (aaahh...just the thought of them brings tears to my eyes)plus a growing family and many precious friends. All of which have blessed me deeply! And that's why I love to cheer!
